Warranty policy
Plateforged number plate orders include a free three-year warranty, alongside your statutory consumer rights.
This design preview accepts no orders or payments. These are Plateforged’s intended store policies. Contact details are on the Contact Us page. Legal operator details and the business address will be added before ordering opens.

What the warranty covers
- Separation of the reflective backing or vinyl layers.
- Water ingress damaging the acrylic or reflective vinyl.
- Gel or 4D lettering becoming detached through an adhesion fault.
- Acrylic warping or bending caused by a manufacturing defect.
What the warranty does not cover
- Ordinary wear, including scratches and stone chips.
- Accidents, theft or a lost plate.
- A plate falling off because it was not secured properly.
- Damage or water ingress resulting from drilling or screwing through a plate.
Making a warranty claim
Contact Plateforged with your order number, clear photographs and an explanation of the problem. An inspection may be needed; we will provide return instructions if so. Please retain proof of purchase.
Your consumer rights
This warranty is additional protection. Its exclusions and expiry do not remove any rights you have under consumer law. For a problem with an order, also read our refund policy.
